Abstract Modern mobility has profoundly changed the meaning of home, leaving and rooting, Home is no longer regarded as a stable concept, but as a continually constructed social space, and the second home endows the "home" in the traditional society with richer dynamic connotation and unique symbolic significance. Taking Xian'nv mountain Town of Chongqing as an example, this paper studies the spatial imagination, perception and specific identity of second home summer residents towards the home. The research shows, through the perception of the environment atmosphere and residential facilities, summer residents construct their identity of the functional type of comfortable space based on environmental gaze and leisure consumption, which is a useful supplement to the original first home; Through the perception of similar summer residents and community landscape, and based on Group consensus and interaction, the social identity of elite space has been constructed; Through daily practice and family activities, summer residents have realized the emotional recognition of family palceto a certain extent on the basis of life experience and emotional implantation, which all reflect the organic unity of leisure, social and daily attributes of home. According to the study, the second home shows a new form of tourism that escapes from modernity and meets leisure needs. It is also a regular, repetitive and cyclical way of life. At the same time, it shows the desire for identity, emotion and authenticity.
